Hi….work with GSM networks? quisiera saber…el telĂ©fono trabaja con redes GSM? is gsm too?
Thanks!!
Will the December update mess up the root????
Will the new update ruin your root. Will WiFi still work. Thanx for your help
Hey with the latest Verizon update, I can’t get my droid Bionic to root. So my story is that I purchased a Bionic in December and rooted it without any problems using your procedure. I also installed wifi tether. Unfortunately my phone had software issues, and needed to be returned to Verizon. When I got my new phone home today I saw there was a system software update from Verizon. I downloaded and installed it, thinking I was doing a good thing. I then tried to root my phone, and it doesn’t work. It keeps having issues. I just wanted to give you the heads up that your procedure may no longer work on newer phones. Shoot me an email if you want more details.

I am in the exact same boat! I have asked many devs for help. Let me know if you come up with anything.
I would appriciate it greatly if u made.a video on how to get yr bionic back to blur.
i just got system versions 5.9.902 and i’m unable to root my bionic, i’ve got the latest drivers. i tried using the pete’s motorola and also downloaded rootbionicrootnew.zip, no luck with either one. What can i do to root my bionic?
I also have a question about lcd screen replacement for the bionic. My lcd has cracked so i ordered a replacement lcd. Once installed the phone does not want to boot, it powers on and I get the Motorola logo window but it’s stock at this window, seems like it just keeps loading and loading and and never goes further. I thought it was the connection at first but after trying yet another screen the same problem remains, when i plug in the original damaged screen the phone is able to boot up and function correctly. So at this point i am sure that it’s not the connection problem but maybe compatibility issue I’m guessing. i have tried different screen models xt865 and xt875 and get the same issue on both. I’ve checked the connections thoroughly and they are fine. I never came across this issue so I’m thinking that the screen is not compatible since when i put on the original lcd it works fine. Looking for a way to boot it up, any suggestions would be appreciated
I’m stuck there too. Yours is the first Google result I’ve found, I hate when there are questions but no answers. If anyone’s got an answer, please email me at “sales at fredbiz dot com” — this is in regard to the lcd replacement causing a boot failure.
Just downloaded 5.9.902 earlier today then attempted to root. Didn’t work, looks like this updated version doesn’t have the correct permissions to allow root? Got the Bionic Bootstrap, guess there will be updated root for this at some point? Thanks!
I have the same problem. I can not delete super user on my phone or unroot without errors. I need to take phone in to have it looked at as it always goes into 3g network instead of 4g network. It won’t switch back to 4g without rebooting and then goes off in about 5 minutes. Can anyone help me to delete super user?
I rooted my phone eclipse on here, worked great for couple days then got stuck in airplane mode. So went back to original, decided to try out eclipse 2.2 it was nice cept for the fact I have no network. Only wifi. Any suggestions would be appreciated, just font want to brick my phone out.
